Unifi Protocol is creating the next class of blockchain, built on the principle of economic sustainability. With a trailblazing vision to make blockchain development accessible to everyone, Unifi selected Baunfire as its digital partner to help guide the company in its next phase of growth. We collaborated with the team at Unifi to completely reimagine their brand experience online, with a corporate site that embodies the Web3 spirit of pushing boundaries and exploring what’s possible.

Building a fresh, confident, and motion-driven web experience

Unifi Protocol approached Baunfire with a simple yet equally ambitious brief — to cut through the noise in the emerging market of Web3 and blockchain technology. To do this, we developed a unique visual language that combined imagery from the physical world with elements representing the abstract digital space, also pairing retro-inspired animations with smooth, high-fidelity transitions to bring the brand story to life.

Built on life’s textures and 3D blocks

After immersive brand discovery workshops with the Unifi team, we explored a visual style that takes inspiration from textures found in everyday life, such as water, greenery, and concrete. We applied this imagery to 3D block forms, creating a sense of the physical and digital worlds coming together under a unified mission for sustainability.

An extension of the brand's colors

We worked with the Unifi team to develop a future-forward palette that was refined, warm, and accented by gradients.

Type that bridges yesterday and tomorrow

Unifi's redesigned corporate website consists of modern typography with a nod to retro bitmap fonts, reflecting the brand’s rich history in the digital space. Typewriter-style animations and blinking computer effects create a distinct look and feel.
