Aislinn Kate began her wedding photography business in 2009, having since grown the studio to become one of the most respected in the United States. Today, her studio consists of a team of creative professionals who deliver top-notch photography and video services from coast to coast.

Working with the creatives at Florida-based Aislinn Kate Photography, Baunfire developed a brand identity and digital presence that immerses viewers in elegance while still providing a thorough—and approachable—overview of services and process.

An attractive brand identity and modern logo

The new website needed to be both luxurious and inviting, so we incorporated soft shapes and used a handwritten script to bring human elements into a minimalist design. We also wanted to reflect the founder’s personality and values by creating a feminine, welcoming atmosphere through these touches.

In addition, we were able to update Aislinn Kate’s signature pineapple logo, a nod to Florida hospitality, by simplifying the structure and bringing in a playful camera motif—an aperture now comprises the “body” of the pineapple.

Clean layouts communicate key information

As a rapidly growing studio, Aislinn Kate Photography needed a web presence that would help reduce an influx of email questions. We laid out the process in an easy-to-read format that subtly animates each step and encourages site visitors to take action via several call-to-action buttons.

A neutral, elegant palette to let the work shine

By using the neutral accent colors of cream and gold in addition to black and white, we not only signaled wedding sophistication but also let the Aislinn Kate images speak for themselves.

A twist on serif

In a departure from fonts traditionally used on wedding websites, we selected a sophisticated, slightly editorial, sans-serif typeface as our primary font. This was combined with handwritten scripts which serve as more organic accents throughout the site.

Mobile-first for the socially savvy

With many couples searching for and vetting their wedding vendors through social media, we were especially cognizant of the need for the new site to provide a beautiful, intuitive experience on every device. It does so flawlessly.
